Noblesville Downs the Bulldogs

The Bulldogs dropped the first of a two-game series with Noblesville by the score of 17-7.  The Bulldogs started off the game hot scoring 2 quick runs in the top of the 1^st with a 2-run double off the wall by junior C Brooks Bireley.  The Dogs allowed the Millers to put two up in the bottom of the inning to tie the game, but battled right back ahead in the top of the 2^nd inning when a single by junior SS Jacson McGowan scored 2 more runs.  The Bulldogs offense halted a little after the 2^nd and was unable to put runs up again until the 5^th.  In that inning, a handful of walks and an RBI single from senior OF Tyler Westrich allowed the Dogs to score 3.  Unfortunately, the Millers offense won the day, putting up big numbers and scoring in every inning.  Junior LHP Triston Polley (1-1) started the game and collected his first loss of the season by going 4 innings and junior RHP Michael Klayer threw the final 2 innings of the game
