The Varsity Girls Basketball team ended their season on Saturday with a tough loss in Regional play to #5 Roncalli, 46-57.  The Dogs finished the year with a 20-4 record.  The first half was a defensive battle with the Dogs' holding Roncalli to just 2 second quarter points.  The Dogs were up at the half, 16-15.  The Rebels were aggressive in the third quarter, turning up their half court pressure D and forcing turnovers.  The Rebels outscored the Dogs by 10 and led by 8 after three quarters of action.  The Dogs played the Rebels close in the fourth quarter although forced to foul in the final minutes of action.  The Rebels hit 85% of their free throws in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.

A special thanks to our seven seniors:  Brooke Bronger, Kayle Comer, Natalie Kroll, Margaret Oles, Mackenzie Trout, Lindsey Low and Stephanie Mavunga for a memorable season!  These past four years have been one of the most successful periods in the history of Brownsburg Basketball - due in large part to their commitment and determination!  They will be missed!
