Bulldogs Slay Warriors of Danville

The Varsity Girls Basketball team got back on track Saturday night by defeating Danville, 61-21.  The Dogs hit just over 50% from the field.  The Dogs' post players were an amazing 19 for 23 from the free throw stripe.  It was an overall terrific team performance.  Stephanie Mavunga led the Dogs in scoring with 21 points on 7 of 9 shooting.  Stephanie was also 7 for 9 from the free throw line.  Makenzie Trout had a career high 13 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.  Makenzie hit 7 of 8 from the charity stripe.  Audrey Lyons was aggressive in the paint finishing with 6 points, 2 rebounds, a block and a steal.  Audrey hit 5 of 6 from the free throw line.   Katie Reinhart pulled down seven rebounds while scoring six points.  Margaret Oles finished the night with four rebounds, two assists and two steals.  Lindsey Low did a great job in her first varsity start.  Lindsey scored six points, dished out seven assists, had two steals and three rebounds.  The Dogs will enjoy a short break as they do not play their next contest until Saturday, December 10th at Lafayette Harrison.
