The No. 26 Brownsburg Girls' Swimming & Diving team completed their regular season with a win over Crawfordsville in which three swimmers were able to pick up their first career win in a varsity meet.

The first among these swimmers was freshman Baylei Crawford, who picked up two wins in the 200 Free (2:17.07) and 100 Breast (1:18.94). Senior Ella Hart picked up her first win in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:12.73.

Another of the first-time winners was Ellie Nolte with her first varsity win in the 100 Back with a time of 1:14.50. Junior Annika Schaekel picked up a win in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.45.

Senior Emma Wolf picked up a win that was far from her first in her career, winning yet again in the diving portion of the meet, scoring 432.65 points across 11 dives.

After one of their most difficult seasons to date, Coach Gast applauds the senior captains for leading the group along the way. The girls return to the pool for competitive action in two weeks time, with the IHSAA Sectionals taking place on Feb. 4 from the Bulldog Aquatic Center.
