Swim/Dive sweeps Brownsburg Mini Invite

It was a dominating night in the pool as Brownsburg Swim/Dive opened the 2021-2022 season in the Brownsburg Mini Invite against Cathedral, Brebeuf Jesuit and Cardinal Ritter. 

On the boys side the Bulldogs won seven events at the meet. Gavin Coggan won the 200-yard free with a time of 1:51.08 and the 100-yard free with a time of 50.87. Parker Huff was victorious in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.86 and Michael Williams won the 100 yard breast with a time of 105.10 

The Bulldogs came away with three relay victories as the 200-Free, 200-medley, and 400-yard free relays all won for the Bulldogs. JJ Schmidt, Micahel Williams, Jake Johnson and Caleb Peschke teamed up for a 1:38.14 in the 200-medley. Johnson, Cameron, Peschke, Schmidt and Cameron posted a 1:27.26 in the 400-yard free. In the 400 Johnson, Schmidt, Cameron and Peschke won with a time of 3:14.02. 

The Brownsburg girls claimed six event victories in the pool including wins from Margie Miller in the 100-yard free and 100-yard back. Miller also helped the Bulldogs to a win in the 200 Medley relay.
