By Drew Sandifer

The No. 21 Brownsburg Girls' Swimming & Diving picked up a win over fellow top-25 ranked team in the state and sectional foe Pike. It was yet another close meet for the Bulldogs who clinched the meet on a 400 Free Relay that came down to the last second. Senior Rory Smith came back in two separate events in the 200 IM and that final 400 Free Relay of the night.

Senior diver Emma Wolf continued her dominating season by winning the diving portion of the event seemingly with ease. The Dogs started off the night with a critical win in the 200 Medley Relay via the team of Maria Scholz, Murphi Crawford, Grace Hasselbrinck and Ellie Nolte.

Despite missing several varsity athletes, the team perservered to an impressive win over the Red Devils who was the sectional runner-up to the Dogs a season ago.

Up next: Brownsurg returns to yet another midweek meet on Thursday, Dec. 17. The Dogs will host the Patriots of Terre Haute North Vigo High School as the meet is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
