No. 21 Girls' Swimming & Diving take home Rotary Bell over Avon

The No. 21 Brownsburg Girls' Swimming & Diving team bounced back on Dec 8 with a 111-75 win over conference rival Avon to claim the B&O Rotary Bell over the Orioles. 

Senior Rory Smith had an impressive meet with a win and season-best time of 2:02.15 in the 200 Yard Free and anchored a come-from-behind win in the 400 Yard Free Relay. Fellow senior Emma Wolf continued her dominance this season with a win and score of 277 in the diving portion of the event.

Freshman Marie Kingery continued her impressive first campaign with a winning season-best time of 1:04.14. Junior Erin Haycox also impressed with a win in the 500 Free in 5:35.08, just over a quarter of a second ahead of teammate Ella Wilson.

Other winners in the meet were Callie Clodfelter, Grace Hasselbrinck, Margie Miller and Maria Scholz.

The Dogs will next take action at the Brownsburg Aquatic Center on Dec. 12 at the Bulldog Relays.
