Home Runs Push Baseball Past Greenfield Central, 11-3

Baseball (11-3, 6-2 in HCC) won their 2nd matchup of the afternoon on Saturday, beating Greenfield-Central, 11-3. The Bulldogs were hitting bombs today as three separate batters hit it over the fence.
Walker Brodt started the ballgame off today on the hill as he pitched three shutout innings. He only allowed one hit and struck out four opposing hitters.
In the bottom of the 3rd, Kennan LeBlanc belted a grand slam for his first home run of the season, putting the Bulldogs up 5-0.
Zach Stoll came in for Brodt in the 4th, allowing three runs in his first inning of work. He settled down, however, as he pitched the next two innings without allowing a run. Will McKinzie made two spectacular diving plays, recording two outs in the top of the 6th.
Ben Baylor and Josh Judge helped the offense out with big-time home runs, both hitting their firsts of the season.
Freshman Drew Jennings came in once again to close this one out.
