Baseball Explodes for 14 Unanswered Runs Against North Central, 14-0

By Brian Cooney

Baseball (5-3, 3-2 in HCC) beat down on North Central on Monday (4.18). This is the Bulldog's second consecutive game with 14 or more runs. The offense is hot!

In the first inning, the Bulldogs scored six runs without getting a hit. North Central couldn't control the walks, and the Bulldogs kept running the bases. Brownsburg scored four separate times on passed balls.

Pitching was excellent today, as Connor Lambert, Walker Brodt, and Cathan Stiemann combined for 5 IP, 3 H, and 0 ER.

Will McKinzie and Mason Grant continued their hot starts to the season. McKinzie went 2-2 with three runs scored. Grant went 2-2 and was hit by a pitch twice. Both have been the catalyst of the Bulldog offense thus far.
