Baseball Falls to Westfield Again, 16-7

Baseball (3-3, 3-2 in HCC) lost to the Westfield Shamrocks for the 2nd night in a row on Friday. It wasn't an easy one, as rain and wind came and went the whole night. 

The Shamrocks came to play in the 1st inning, scoring six early runs off two homers. Lambert was pulled in the top of the 1st, replaced by Alec Murphy. 

In the bottom of the first, the Bulldogs had a promising 2-run comeback, but it was stunted by another 4-run 2nd inning for the Shamrocks. 

Steven Walsh went 2-for-2 tonight with two walks. Ben Bayler went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs. 

Tonight just wasn't the night for Brownsburg, as errors and great opposing hitting riddled their game. 

The Bulldogs matchup against Pike tomorrow at 1:30 PM.
