Baseball Breezes by Decatur Central in Game 1 of Saturday Doubleheader, 14-4

Baseball (10-3, 6-2 in HCC) played Decatur Central in their first matchup of a Saturday doubleheader (4.30). The Bulldogs have continued to hit the cover off the ball, beating the Hawks 14-4.

Despite Decatur Central taking a one-run lead early, Brownsburg bounced back, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the 2nd. Coulter Hamilton opened up the inning with his first home run. 

The Bulldogs kept the bats going in the 3rd, as they put up four more runs off doubles from Jackson Fought and Will McKinzie

Cathan Stiemann pitched the first three innings, allowing one run and only three hits. Drew Jennings, a freshman pitcher making his Varsity debut, closed the game without allowing a hit.
