No. 18 Girls' T&F defeats Zionsville in Sectional tune-up

The No. 18 Brownsburg Girls' Track and Field team defeated No. 10 Zionsville, 77-55, in their final regular season meet of the season.

Abby Lynch was a winner of three separate events on the evening, winning the 200-meter dash and as a part of two separate winning relays.

Eva Altschul joined Lynch in the three-win club on the evening, winning the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:22 and a member of two other winning relays.

Isabel Anderson broke through as a winner in the mile with a personal record of 5:46. Heather Blue also won the 100-meter hurdles. 

Brownsburg swept the 4x800, 4x100 and 4x400 relays en route to the victory.

Up next: The Bulldogs compete in IHSAA Sectional play on Tuesday, May 18 at Zionsville High School. The start time for the meet is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
