The Brownsburg Girls' Track and Field team returned to action in the 2021 season with a close victory over the Westfield Shamrocks at Brownsburg High School.

Abby Lynch started her senior campaign off strong with wins in the 1600, 800 and was the anchor leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay. She was joined as a three-time winner by Aysa Thruston, who won the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes as well as anchoring in the winning 4x100-meter relay.

Other key contributors to the Bulldogs' win include Jordan Griffin, who won the 400-meter run and was the lead off leg for the winning 4x400-meter relay. It was a good day for high jump as Brownsburg athletes took first, second and third via Kendall Meller, Siji Ketiku and Sarah Boucher, respectively.

The Dogs also dominated the 200-meter dash as Thruston took first, Destiny Thomas took second and Darelle Rice took third.

Brownsburg returns to the track on April 6, where they will host Brebeuf and Cathedral at home.
