No. 8 Girls' T&F claims Rotary Bell in nail-biting win over Avon

The No. 8 Brownsburg Girls' Track & Field team edged out Avon to win the B&O Rotary Bell on Tuesday night, 68-64. Before the meet, the team honored its eight seniors -- Demetria Folsom, Siji Ketiku, Natalia Dickerson, Alivia Gustrowsky, Isabella Maihofer, Destiny Thomas, Grace Crawford and Abby Lynch.

On the track, highlights included a pair of long-distance feats  personal-best in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:59 and Lindsay Huston won the mile with a PR time of 5:34.

In the sprints, Jordan Griffin won the 400-meter dash yet again. Both 4x400 and 4x800-meter relay teams walked away with victories as well with the former clinching the victory for Brownsburg.
