Girls' Track and Field tops field at Warren Relays

The Brownsburg Girls' Track and Field team won the Warren Relays, finishing with 98 points. Host Warren Central finished second with 64 points, while Avon rounded out the top three with 58 points.

The 4x1600 relay team of Sydney Parpart, Alivia Gustrowsky, Eva Altschul and Lindsay Huston kicked off the event for the Bulldogs with a victory, closely followed by the Sprint Medley Relay team of Abby Lynch, Darelle Rice, Aysa Thruston and Destiny Thomas

Thomas, Rice and Thruston would return to the winner's circle alongside Demetria Folsom in the 4x100 relay. 

Then, in a break from the track action, Quinci Thomas and Paige Kirtz won long jump as a duo, recording a combined distance of 33'8.25". 

Finally, Kirtz, Thruston and Lynch were joined by Jordan Griffin as part of the winning 4x400 relay team that closed the victorious Saturday for the girls.

The Bulldogs return home for a meet with Lebanon and Speeday and Tuesday, April 13. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
