The Brownsburg Girls' Track & Field team returned to action from Spring Break with a home meet victory over Cathedral and Brebeuf on April 6. The Bulldogs scored 91 points, while the Irish recorded 49 and the Braves logged 27.

The Dogs took each of the top 3 spots in the 1600-meter run with Abby Lynch taking the top spot, with Sydney Parpart and Mackenzie Williams placing second and third, respectively. Lynch wasn't done taking home first-place finishes, however, as she went on to win the 800-meter run as well, as fellow Brownsburg runner Eva Alstchul claimed second place.

As for the 4x100 relay, the team of Destiny Thomas, Demetria Folsom, Darrelle Rice and anchor Quinci Thomas stormed back to take home first place in the event.

The Dogs showed out in the field events as well, placing the top four finishers in the discus throw as Kindahl DeBrunner, Xoe Alo, Carsen Ardelsperger and Kendall Meller rounded out the top of the leaderboard. Meller wasn't done there, as she took first place in the high jump, just ahead of Sarah Boucher, who finished in second. Emily Teany also represeted the Bulldogs with a win in the pole vault event.

Brownsburg returns to action next Tuesday, April 13, with a meet against Lebanon and Speedway.
