No. 8 Girls' T&F finishes fifth at Zionsville Invite

The No. 8 Brownsburg Girls' Track and Field team finished fifth this weekend at the Zionsville Invite. Aysa Thruston led the highlights for the Bulldogs, as she broke the school's freshman record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.61.

Eva Altschul continued lowering her times, as she ran a personal-best 5:19 in the 1600-meter run. Abby Lynch returned to action, winning the 800-meter run in 2:14.

The 4x100 meter relay team of Thruston, Darrelle Rice, Destiny Thomas and Demetria Folsom took home first place as well.

The Dogs will return to action on Tuesday, May 4 as Fishers High School hosts the Girls' HCC Track and Field Championships. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
