HSE Blanks Bulldogs

The Bulldogs dropped the first game of their series with HSE in an exciting pitching duel.  The Bulldogs Logan Kabrich battled with HSE's Ball State-bound ace in 6 scoreless innings before the HSE royals were able to score 4 in the bottom of the 6^th on a couple timely hits and a Bulldog error.  The Bulldogs threatened in 4 of the 7 innings with runners on 2^nd or 3^rd, but were unable to get a timely hit to bring in a run.  The Bulldogs will face off against HSE tonight in a home DH to end the regular season.  First pitch is set for 6pm tonight.  After that, the Bulldogs will have a few days off before starting the IHSAA tournament.  This year's sectional being hosted at Mary Beth Rose Park and the Dogs will face Plainfield Wednesday in game 1 of the tourney.
