Softball Loses to Avon

The varsity softball team lost their conference finale with Avon. Despite a tight game through the first five innings, the Dogs were unable to stop the offensive threat of the Orioles due to defensive and pitching difficulties, complicated by a lack of late-game offense. The girls hope to face Avon next week and seek revenge after they get through what will be a tough first round of sectionals against Southport on their home field on Tuesday. Good luck, girls!
