Bulldogs Win Over Westfield

Tuesday night the varsity softball team got off to a great start in conference play by dominating the Shamrocks of Westfield 9-1.  Rachel Fiscus owned the mound, striking out 12 and only giving up 3 hits for her first complete game of the season.  Meanwhile, the offense set the tone early, scoring 4 runs in the first inning, including both hits and runs from Kyrsten Wagoner, Jessica Blystone, Gabby Hall, Ally Carver, and Fiscus.  The bats stayed alive all game as Blystone tallied 4 hits on the night, Kelsey Reinhardt and Carver had three hits  and 2 RBI apiece, and Lindsey Stahl came in with a bang, going 2 for 2 with a homerun and a double.  The girls look to pick up where they left off at home Wednesday at 5:30 against Ben Davis.
