7th Ranked HSE Too Much for Bulldogs

Thursday night the varsity softball team took on #7-ranked Hamilton Southeastern.  Despite a great first inning of hitting from the Dogs, they were not able to overcome the Royals' steady offensive onslaught and lost 14-4.  Reaching base twice on the night for the Bulldogs were Jessica Blystone, Ally Carver, and Candice Williams.  Lindsey Stahl was the offensive powerhouse, though, parking a 3-run homerun to tie up the game in the bottom of the first inning.  The girls travel to McCutcheon Friday for another conference showdown, followed by two home games on Saturday at 11:00 and 1:00, against Danville and Lafayette Jeff, respectively.  Come out and enjoy a beautiful day and great softball at the diamonds.
