John Colquitt breaks third school record, No. 4 Boys' Track defeats Zionsville

The No. 4 Brownsburg Boys' Track and Field team won in their final tune-up before IHSAA Sectional play with a win over conference foe Zionsville, 73-59. 

John Colquitt broke yet another school record with a time of 10.85 seconds in a winning effort in the 100-meter dash. Colquitt has recently broken school records for the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles.

Dominic Calhoun broke the freshman record in the 100-meter dash, running in 11.36 seconds. Junior Hiaden Diemer-McKinney also won in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.48 seconds.

Brownsburg long distance also showed out, as senior teammates Trevor Nolan and Jacob Kodrick were victorious in the 1600- and 3200-meter runs, respectively.

Up next: The Dogs turn their attention to IHSAA Sectional action on Thursday, May 20 at Plainfield High School. The start time for the meet is scheduled for 6 p.m.
