The No. 3 Brownsburg Boys' Track and Field team won the 2021 Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championship, scoring 126 points to second place Zionsville's 105.75. The Bulldogs are now back-to-back champions after taking the crown in 2019 as well.

John Colquitt earned a total of 36 points for the Bulldogs in the meet, winning three titles on the evening. Colquitt swept the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles, and was the third leg of the winning 4x100 relay team. Colquitt also placed third in long jump.

Senior Marcos Barbosa had a big day as well, reaching a new personal-best in the high jump, clearing 6'5 and taking the HCC title. Barbosa placed third in the 110-meter hurdles and was the anchor leg of that 4x100 relay team.

Zemonda Wilson also ran well, finishing second in the 100-meter dash and fourth in the 200-meter dash. Wilson was also a member of the winning 4x100 relay team.

Haiden Diemer-McKinney ran team-best splits in the 4x800 meter relay and the 4x400 meter relay, with Bulldog teams finishing in second and first, respectively. HDM also was a runner-up in the 400-meter dash.

Other top-3 finishes included senior Max Harris with a third place finish in the 200-meter dash and senior Tyray Lackey, who came runner-up to Barbosa in the high jump, clearing 6-4.

Varsity is back in action on Wednesday, May 12 as the Bulldogs wrap up their home schedule with a dual meet against HCC foe Zionsville.
