The Brownsburg Boys' Track and Field team are co-champions of the Twilight Invitational with Warren Central at 176 points apiece. Ironically, these two teams were co-champions of last week's Warren Relays.

Tyray Lackey had a big night in the field, securing first place in the long jump with a distance of 20'8", and breaking a personal record in the high jump at 6'8", but finished second in the event.

Zemonda Wilson continued improving his times in the 200 and 100-meter dashes, racing to times 22.46 and 11.14 seconds, respectively. Both are personal bests for Wilson.

Freddy Hawthorne took home first place in the 110 hurdles, running yet another personal best for the Dogs in 16.11 seconds. Robert Jackson joined the part as well, running a personal best 44.16 in the 300-meter hurdles, which also won the event.

Haiden Diemer-McKinney won the 400-meter dash with a time and capped off the night with a personal-best split as the anchor leg of the winning 4x400 relay, finishing in a blistering time of 49.7.

In the alternate event on Friday night, Trevor Nolan participated in the Miracle Mile, hosted at Franklin Central. The senior ran his mile in 4:25.72, good for third place in Heat 2.

Brownsburg is back on the road on Tuesday, April 20 as they face Hendricks County foes in Plainfield and Mooresville at Plainfield. The meet is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
