No. 3 Boys' Track & Field claims Zionsville Invite title

The No.3 Brownsburg Boys' Track & Field continued their highly successful season with a win in the Zionsville Invitational on April 30. The Bulldogs won with 126 points, Zionsville finished second with 105.75 points, Harrison third with 91, Avon fourth with 78.75 and Westfield fifth with 71.5 points.

It was a continuation of a big week for John Colquitt, who broke the meet and school record for the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.32 seconds. He also won the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 39.98.

Haiden Diemer-McKinney placed second in the 800 meter run with a personal-best time of 1:56.76. HDM would go on to be the anchor leg of the winning 4x400 meter relay with a personal-best split of 49.3 seconds. 

Seniors Trevor Nolan and Tyray Lackey shone through as well. Nolan won the 3200-meter run with a personal-best time of 9:27.37. Lackey won the high jump event, clearing 6'6.

The Dogs turn their attention to the HCC meet, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 6 back at Zionsville High School. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
