Brownsburg Defeats Plainfield

Tuesday Brownsburg celebrated Most Valuable Educator night with the Bulldog players recognizing a teacher who has impacted their experience as a student at Brownsburg.  Twelve high school, three middle school and three elementary teachers were recognized for their dedication to education and the impact they have had as a Brownsburg teacher.  The game started with Brownsburg jumping out to a quick lead and held a 21-14 advantage at the quarter break.  Antrez Baker got the evening off to a good start by scoring 8 of his 14 points in the first quarter.  Brownsburg tightened the defensive effort and held the Quakers to 8 points in the second quarter to take a 38-22 halftime lead. After weathering an early run by Plainfield, Brownsburg pushed the lead to 20 points to end the third quarter and finished the evening with a 78-52 victory.  The game was the Bulldogs last home game and the team would like to thank all the fans and students for their support during the season.  The Bulldogs had a very balanced performances lead by a great defensive effort against the potent Plainfield lineup.  Ten different Bulldogs scored lead by Cameron Alford (19), Antrez Baker(14), Reis Thomas(11), Pierce Thomas(8), and Kyle Wolf(7).  The team rebounded well lead by Baker(7), Alford(6), Kris Jackson(4), Reis Thomas(3) & Kyle Wolf(3).  Alford, Jackson, R Thomas, P Thomas & Baker all tallied 2 or more assists. The team will travel to Hamilton Southeastern Friday with a chance to claim the 2018 HCC title.
