Bulldogs Open Season with Victory

The boys basketball team open the 2017-18 campaign with a 76-48 victory over Indianapolis Arlington.  The first quarter was a back and forth battle that saw the Bulldogs up 15-14.  Brownsburg got it into a better rhythm in the second quarter to take a 35-21 lead at halftime.  Brownsburg played more consistent and shook off some of the first game jitters to extend their lead in the third quarter.  Several players earned quality minutes, as the Bulldogs celebrated their first win of the season.  Cameron Alford paced the Bulldogs in scoring with 21 points while Reis Thomas chipped in with 18.  Antrez Baker and Kyle Wolf each had 5 rebounds for the team. Overall nine different players scored and all 13 players dressed participated in the game.  Brownsburg will play at Pike Saturday night.  JV and Freshmen teams will tip off at 6 pm with the varsity to follow.
