Boys Hoops Tops Silver Creek

Brownsburg hosted Silver Creek Saturday afternoon in a non conference game for the Bulldogs. The first quarter was a back and forth battle which ended with the Bulldogs leading 10-7. In the second quarter, with the score tied at 18, Brownsburg reeled of a run lead by Cameron Alford to go in at halftime leading 27-20. The second half Brownsburg came out and played very good Basketball to pull away for the 67-46 win. Several players made worthy contributions to the win. Cameron Alford put together a well rounded game scoring 17 points 7 rebounds and seven assists while defending Silver Creeks leading scorer. Also contributing to the win were Reis Thomas 15 points3 rebounds and 2 assists, Malek Edmonds 13 points 4 rebounds and 2 assists,  Pierce  Thomas 10 points 6 rebounds and 2 assists, and Kyle Wolf with 4 points and a team high 7 rebounds.  Antrz Baker and Ryan Porath completed the scoring for Brownsburg.  Freshman Luke Lacey and Sophomore Jakobi McGowan played their first extensive varsity minutes in the first half.
