Bulldogs Win Over Lebanon Tigers

Saturday Brownsburg hosted Lebanon in a Boy-Girl double header.  It was also Middle School night as the middle school teams from East & West were introduced at half times of each varsity game.  The Bulldogs started the game with great defense holding the visiting Tigers scoreless for most of the first quarter to take a 16-3 lead.  The Dogs were not as sharp in the second quarter but still maintained a 29-13 halftime advantage.  Brownsburg played well in the third quarter and cruised to a 61-36 victory.  Brownsburg shot the ball well hitting 70% of their free throws, 40% of their three's while placing 3 players in double figures and 9 different players scoring for the game.  Cameron Alford lead the way with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists.  Reis Thomas was productive tallying 10 points 4 assists, and 4 steals.  Malek Edmonds chipped in a game high 14 points and added 3 rebounds.  Pierce Thomas tallied 7 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals while the team committed just 6 turnovers on the evening. Kris Jackson, Gunnar Reffeitt, Antrez Baker, Kyle Wolf and Jacobi McGowan rounded out the scoring for Brownsburg.  This is a busy week for the Bulldogs with a make up game at Fishers Wednesday before hosting Westfield and Carmel this weekend
