Six Women Track & Field Members Compete at Hoosier State Relays.

Six members of the girls' track team represented the Bulldogs Saturday at the Hoosier State Relays meet at Indiana Wesleyan University. Competing against the best track athletes in the state the girls turned in an excellent performance that they can definitely be proud of. Senior Stephanie Mavunga launched the shot put for her best throw of the young season and walked away with a 4th place finish out of 24 throwers. Senior Sibong Ncube finished in the top half of the competition placing 12th in the 55 meter hurdles. Competing as the only freshman out of the 24 competitors in the pole vault Megan Berry finished the day with an impressive 13th place finish. The 4x200 relay team of Ncube, Flo Akinribade, Claire Hathaway, and Briana Smith improved by a full second and moved up four spots from their original seeded place to finish 20th overall. Congratulations to all of the girls on an impressive showing on a very big stage!
