No. 8 @bhsdogsbxc finishes fourth at loaded Nike Valley Twilight

The Brownsburg varsity Boys' Cross Country team posted another eye-opening performance this past weekend. The Bulldogs notched a fourth place finish at the 2019 Nike Valley Twilght in Terre Haute, Indiana at the Lavern Gibson Cross Country Course. The course is the host for the upcoming 2019 IHSAA Cross Country State Finals. 

The meet featured over 25 teams from Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky. Twenty-one of the teams that competed are currently ranked in their respective states. 

The Bulldogs put a pair of runners in the top-thirty individual times to piece together a 188-point performance and top-five finish on the team side. 

Trevor Nolan's 17th place finish was the top individual time for the Bulldogs. 

As a team, Brownsburg finished ahead of six Indiana schools who are currently ranked in the IATCCC poll. They finished in front of another 11 teams from outside the state of Indiana, including the No. 1 team from Kentucky, Trinity School for the Boys.

The 2019 IHSAA Boys Cross Country State Tournament kicks off with the Sectional meet on October 12th. Brownsburg is a member of Sectional 17 which features Avon, Bethesda Christian, Brownsburg, Cascade, Cloverdale, Danville Community, Greencastle, North Putnam, South Putnam, Plainfield, Crawfordsville, Tri-West Hendricks, Southmont.

Brownsburg High School is the host for the meet.
