Girls' and Boys' Cross country place third at Noblesville Relays

Brownsburg cross country finished third in team scoring at the Noblesville Relays on both the Girls' and the Boy's side. In both races the Bulldogs were up against IATCCC Coaches' Top 25 Poll talent. On the girls side, the Bulldogs ran against five other teams including Hoosier Crossroads conference foe No. 7 Noblesville. The boys were up against seven other teams including No. 2 Fishers, No. 7 Noblesville and No. 23 North Central. It was the second consecutive third-place finish for both teams to open the 2019 season. 

Girls' Race:

Each of Brownsburg's four relay team's placed in the top half of the individual times of the girls' race.

The Bulldogs were able to place two of those duos in the top ten at Noblesville. Kiley Van Ness and Brooke Dixon placed third with a time of 35:41 and an average mile of 5:56.8. Emma Cougill and Isabella Maihofer were eighth. 

Boys' Race: 

The Brownsburg boys placed two of their relay teams in the top five at Noblesville. 

Trevor Nolan and Alex Freeman were second with a time of 29:38.2. Panin Skiles and Jacob Kodrick notched a fifth-place time of 30:05.7.

Both teams will host the Brownsburg Invitational in their next meet Sept. 7.
