Bulldogs End regular season with win

The Bulldogs ended the regular season with a 10-5 victory over Martinsville last night.  Drew Stratton collected his first varsity win in his first varsity start with Nick Reams and Landon Hall contributing 2 innings of work each as well.  At the plate, the Dogs were hot out of the gate with an RBI double from Jordan Jones to score Luis Escalante from second.  In the top half of the second, the Dogs were able to tack on 2 more runs with big hits from Logan Kabrich and Charlie Esterline and then again, the dogs were able to put up four runs in the 3rd with hits from Tyler Bireley, Garrett Copley and Cameron Martin.  The Bulldogs tacked on some insurance runs in the 6th to bring the final score to 10-5.  The Bulldogs will have  a few days off before starting the IHSAA sectional, they drew the bye and will play Plainfield on Monday (Memorial Day) with all games being played at Mooresville.  First pitch is set for 1pm.
