Bulldogs Celebrate Seniors
The Bulldogs dropped the opening game of their HCC series with Noblesville last night 17-7. The Bulldogs got behind early as the Millers put 6 up in the first two innings while the Bulldogs were only able to scrape together 2 runs. But in the bottom of the third, the Dogs rallied for 5 runs to tie the game 7-7. Unfortunately, the bats got quiet after that big inning and the Millers were able to ramp up their offense. Kerrington Cross highlighted the night going 2-5 and reaching base 2 other times on errors. The Bulldogs were able to spray 9 hits around the field, but it wasn't enough to keep up with the Millers. The Bulldogs also took some time last night to celebrate their senior class and would like to thank the 10 senior players and Bailee DeHart (our senior manager) for all that they have done for the program and the school community over the past 4 years. They are truly 11 gifted student-athletes that will continue to have great success in the future. Thank you!
