Trojans Over Bulldogs

In the final game of the year, Brownsburg played Center Grove in a tough non-conference matchup with the Trojans.  Brownsburg came out and took an early lead only to see the visitors reclaim the lead at the quarter, 12-8.  The Dogs hung tough through a difficult second quarter as Center Grove extended its lead to 9 at halftime.  A refocused Brownsburg team closed the lead to five points several times throughout the second half but were unable to overcome the deficit falling 67-56.  Reis Thomas Landon Hall and Cameron Alford lead the team in scoring and the Dogs had quality efforts from Kris Jackson, Malek Edmonds and Kyle Wolf but were not quite to form as they drop to 15-6 and finished second in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference.  They Dogs open sectional play next Tuesday at 6:00pm against Terre Haute North.
