Bulldogs Go 1-1 On Weekend

Brownsburg travelled to Westfield for a HCC contest with the Coaches Shamrocks. Brownsburg started quickly taking a 17-9 first quarter lead. Although the pace slowed in the second quarter the Dogs pushed their lead to 27-13 at halftime. The teams played even in the sounds half as Brownsburg remained undefeated in conference play picking up a 60-46 win. For the evening Brownsburg played one of their most efficient games of the year with on offense shooting 70 percent from the field and 81% from the foul line. Cameron Alford had 21 points and 8 assists while Landon Hall chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Reis Thomas had 6 points on 3-3 field goals while adding 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Antrez Baker had 10 points.

Saturday Brownsburg travelled to Carmel to take on the Greyhounds. Both teams got off to a good start but a Carmel's 4 three point field goals over the last 3 minutes allowed the Hounds to take a 20-8 first quarter lead. Similar to the first quarter the Dogs made a good run to chip the lead to 27-20 only to see Carmel explode offensively to take a 45-23 halftime lead. The Hounds would go on to make 12 three pointers and win 76-39 over the Dogs. Cameron Alford and Landon Hall lead the team in scoring while Kyle Wolf, Hall, and Reis Thomas collected the most rebounds. The Dogs get back into action Tuesday with a varsity boy-girl double header against Fishers
