Bulldogs Open Season with Loss

The 2016-17 Bulldogs opened in front of their fans against Lawrence Central Wednesday evening.  The team played well and got off to a good start with Landon Hall netting 6 first quarter points.  The teams battled back and forth before halftime with Lawrence Central taking an 8 point halftime lead.  The Dogs had runs in the second half to cut the lead to 4 on different occasions only to see the visiting Bears pull away.  Despite a good outing the Dogs fell 62-46.  Hall, Reis Thomas and Antraz Baker lead the Dogs in scoring with 12, 11 and 10 points respectively.  Baker Hall & Thomas lead in rebounding with 4,4 and 3 respectively and Thomas also notched 4 assists.  The team travels to Fort Wayne to play Southside High School Saturday afternoon.  JV tips off at 4:00pm
