Tri-West Narrowly Defeats Bulldogs

The boys basketball team travelled to Plainfield for a match up with Tri West Wednesday evening in the opening round of the Hendricks County Tournament.  The Dogs started out with a quick lead only to see Tri West take a five point first quarter lead.  The Dogs still trailed at halftime 33=26.  A valiant second half effort put the Dogs back in contention as both teams traded the lead in the fourth quarter.  With 23 seconds left the Dogs not about to give up forced a Twi West turnover and Packard Rozzi made a 3 to put the Dogs up 1 with 5 seconds to play.  After a Tri West timeout the Bruins scored the game winning shot and block a late desperation attempt by the Bulldogs.  The loss drops Brownsburg to 6-2 on the season.
