Bulldogs Win in Double OT

Brownsburg travelled to Southport Tuesday evening to take on the cardinals in a JV & Varsity boys basketball matchup.  While most programs talk about playing for a full 32 minutes, this evening required a little extra.  The Bulldogs pushed their record to 12-5 with a hard fought 64-60 double overtime victory over Southport.  Trailing most of the game and by as much as 13 points in the 3rd quarter, the Dogs made their comeback with some stingy defense and timely shooting.  Freshman Malek Edmonds made 2 crucial free throws with .6 seconds in regulation to force the first overtime.  Edmonds came off the bench to score 12 points and went a perfect 8 for 8 from the foul line.  Cameron Alford(17pts) and Landon Hall (15pts) were Brownsburg other double figure scorers.  Packard Rozzi(9pts) and Reis Thomas (7pts) contributed timely scores.  Kris Jackson, Kyle Wolf, Antrez Baker, Damon Craig, and Gunnar Reffeitt all played and contributed in the victory with great effort and execution to help secure the big road win.
