Bulldogs Season Comes to a Close

The Brownsburg Bulldogs ended their season with a tough loss to Pike in the Regional Saturday 42-57.  The Dogs dug a hole early trailing 11-0 before mounting a huge rally in the second quarter to tie the game at 22.  A last second score allowed Pike to take a 25-22 halftime lead.  The third quarter saw the Dogs miss several key opportunities to cut Pike's lead and the Red Devils capitalized at almost every turn.  The Dogs tried to change tempo starting the fourth quarter and trimmed the lead to single digits before Pike countered and regained a 12 point advantage.  Although the effort was great, the Dogs could not overcome the deficit.  It was a great atmosphere for the team as the announced attendance was well over 6000 fans.  It was a great season with many shining moments for the team and school.  Post season Awards and recognition will be announced soon, but this team will be remembered as one of the best over the last 20 years at Brownsburg
