Bulldogs Finish Regular Season With a Win

Brownsburg travelled to Perry Meridian for the final regular season contest before the state tournament begins next week.  After trailing for the first half and battling to a one point lead entering the fourth quarter, your Bulldogs earned a hard fought 66-57 victory.  Perry Meridian's seniors showed out on their last home game with a terrific performance hitting 7 of 12 3 pointers in the first half and had 2 players with more than 20 points.  The Bulldogs dug in defensively with a great third quarter to turn a 7 point deficit into a one point lead entering the fourth quarter.  The Bulldogs were paced by KJ Walton with 26 point, Darrian Ringo with 17 points and Trevor Lucas with 15 points.  Great contributions by several players on defense lead to many transition baskets for the Bulldogs.  The 18 wins puts this year's squad as one of the winningest regular season teams in the last 20 years of Bulldog basketball.  They open Sectionals next week with Terre Haute North on Tuesday at Avon High School.
