Bulldogs Defeat the Tigers

The varsity boys basketball team opened conference play with a 60-45 win over Fishers Friday evening. After trailing through the first quarter the team had a very good defensive second quarter. Guards Darrian Ringo, Trevor Lucas and Tyler Houston provided solid perimeter defense while front liners Kyle Thompson, Dalton Vachon, Jordache Mavunga and Sam Comer went to work inside for the Dogs. Second half saw the team hold Fishers to zero transition points and 39 total points as both teams emptied their benches with 2 minutes remaining. KJ Walton lead the bulldogs with 18 points on 11 field goal attempts. Jordache Mavunga had nine rebounds and Darrian Ringo four assists. The bulldogs shared the ball extremely well assisting on over half their 23 made field goals. Great team effort
