Boys' Hoops Advances to Sectional Semi-Final

With a hard fought 51-47 win over Terre Haute North on Tuesday evening, the Brownsburg Bulldogs advance to Friday's Sectional Semi-final to face Mooresville.  Brownsburg hit 2 timely three point shots to take a 30-18 lead at halftime.  The Patriots stormed back in the third quarter to cut the lead to five.  While Brownsburg shot a very respectful percentage from the field, the Patriots scorched the nets hitting almost everything they shot.  The Dogs closed the game out going a perfect 9 for 9 at the foul line to seal the win.  Trevor Lucas lead the Dogs with five rebounds and Darrian Ringo scored 19 points support by 16 points from KJ Walton and Lucas' 10.  Senior Tyler Houston hit two clutch 3's in the second and fourth quarters to keep the Patriots from cutting the lead under 2 possessions.  The win pushes Brownsburg's record to 19-2.
