Sectional Champions!

Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team as they traveled to South Putnam on Saturday and returned as the 2016 Sectional Champions! The team ran a very smart race against 8 other teams and finished in front of Conference rival Avon for the win. Freshman Brooke Dixon lead the way for the Bulldogs as she steadily made her way to the front throughout the race and finished in 4^th place overall. Just behind Brooke the girls packed up and sealed the race by taking every spot from #7-#11. That pack included Lauren Rinehart, Gabby Bische, Carly Altier, Cora Minkis, and Emma Cougill. Senior Grace Esterline also ran an excellent race and rounded things out for the team in 19^th place. Also, congratulations to the team as all 7 runners placed well enough to earn a spot on the All-Sectional Team! The girls will now move on to Regional competition as they travel to Ben Davis this Saturday. Congratulations on the big win and keep up the great work!
