Girls XC Places 3rd

The Girls Cross Country team traveled to Noblesville this past Saturday and once again put in a nice performance, placing 3rd of 8 teams in their division, and 15 total teams, just behind the talented groups from Noblesville and Westfield. Running in pairs for their final 6 mile relay race of the season the freshman duo of Brooke Dixon and Lauren Rinehart spent the race pushing the front pack of runners and finished as the 2nd place pair out of 40 pairs! Another great performance from Gabby Bische and Carly Altier scored important points with an impressive 8th place finish, while Emily Truax and Anna Boone battled hard and also crossed the line with a very important contribution to the team score in 20th position. Good luck to these girls as they look to win the County Championship this Tuesday at Danville!

In the JV race Sophomore Ali Ray lead the way for the Bulldogs for the 2nd week in a row, coming in just ahead of Senior teammate Laura Sanders. Many freshmen showed great improvement this week in their second High School race including Sarah Pitts, Emily Britton, Irene Amalaraj, Hannah Tippets, Katelyn Austin, Campbell Adelsperger, and Molly Romine. Great job to these girls and the entire team on a job well done!
