2011 Sectional Champions

The Lady Bulldogs are the 2011 Girl's Track Sectional Champions!  Pacing the way last evening on a chilly night at South Putnam was the 4x800 relay team with a new sectional record time of 9:26!  Congratulations to Kirsten Gaerke, Laura Bess, Sydney Goduto, and Maddie Webster!

Others who won individual sectional titles last night were Sibong Ncube in the 100 meter hurdles, Laura Bess in the 1600 meteres, Sydney Lesko in the 3200 meters and the 4x400 relay team of Rio James, Veronica Goduto, Haley Johnson, and Kirsten Gaerke. 

The rest of the scoring was a balanced attack with many girls contributing!  Event places were Sara Tate, Megan Cole, Caitlin Dressler, Ryne Carr, Katie Reinhart, the 4x100 relay team of Florence Akinribade, Morgan Miller, Ncube, and Johnson, Goduto, Kerry Devney, Jolori Schafer, and Kyra-Jo Gaerke.

 Many of the girls will travel to West Lafayette High School to compete in Regional Competition on Tuesday, May 24.  Congratulations girls!  We are proud of your efforts!
