Girls Track Beats Avon on Senior Night

The Lady Bulldogs took their undefeated season into Senior Night against Avon and came out victorious 85 to 47!  

Event winners on the night were:

• 4x800 relay team of KJ Gaerke, Jenny Gleissner, Maddie Webster and Rio James in 10:14
• 4x100 relay team of Florence Akinribade, Morgan Miller, Sibong Ncube, and Megan Cole in 51.94
• 4x400 relay team of James, Webster, Haley Johnson and Gaerke in 5:14
• Ncube in the 100 hurdles in 15.96
• Kirsten Gaerke in the 100 in 12.81, the 200 in 26.91, and in the 400 in 59.72
• Laura Bess in the 1600 in 5:11.28
• Webster in the 800 with a season best of 2:20
• Sydney Lesko in the 3200 in 11:49.89
• Kerry Devney in the 300 hurdles in a season best time 49.53

  Others who contributed on the night were Sara Tate in hurdles, Cole in the 100 and 200 meters, Veronica Goduto in the 200 and 400, Ryne Carr and Katie Reinhart in the discus, Miller in the shot, Elissa Hall in the pole vault with a season best jump of 9 feet, Jolori Schafer in the 300 hurdles, Lesko in the 1600, Devney in the long jump, and Ncube in the high jump!

 A special shout out to Chris Castille who blistered the 300 meter hurdles in 42 seconds!
