Lady Bulldogs Run to First Place Finish
It was a nice day for the Girls Cross Country team Saturday as they competed in the Avon Invitational. The varsity squad dominated the race and ended up with a perfect score of 15 points as they finished with their entire of 7 team finishing in places 1-7. Ali Ray moved up to finish 2nd place for the team, followed by Gabby Bishce, Emma Cougill, and Emily Truax to round out the scoring. The JV team also finished with a perfect score as they also put up 15 total points. Sydni Montgomery cruised through the course and finished in 1st place overall with a time of 21:04. Freshman Alivia Gustrowsky made a big jump in the line-up as she finished 3rd for the team with a new PR of 21:28. A few other nice performance came from Hannah Tippets, Isabella Witek, Brianna Abbott, and Renee Carter. Great job to both teams!
