Girls XC Wins Noblesville Hokum Karem

The Girls Cross Country team competed in the Noblesville Hokum Karem on Saturday and came away as the meet champions! Facing some very tough competition the girls ran with confidence and all put in amazing performances. The team had a dominant pack in front as they finished with the top 2 scoring pairs in the relay. Leading the way was the overall winning pair of Brooke Dixon and Lauren Cover-Rinehart as they completed the 6 mile relay averaging a total of just 5:45 for each mile. Abby Lynch and Gabby Bische also ran a dominant race and were just behind them averaging 5:50 per mile. Rounding out the scoring was the pair of Ali Ray and Emma Cougill, both running great times and picking up crucial points at the end of the race. Cora Minkis and Carly Altier were also medalists in the race with a 15th place finish. Emily Truax and Morgan Spears also ran a great race, putting up very solid splits along the way. Congratulations to all of the girls on their big win!

While the 3k JV race was not officially scored the Bulldogs had yet another impressive showing for the second straight week. Leading the way for the team were Anna Boone and Sarah Pitts as they pushed each other to great finishes. A few other of the many notable performances were put in by Moni Krasteva, Isabella Witek, Katrina Leming, Brianna Abbott, and Bella Cordell. Great job to all of these girls and keep up the hard work. The entire team travels to Tri-West on Tuesday to defend their County Championship!
