Bulldogs Open New Course with a Victory

It was a very successful day for the Girls Cross Country team on Saturday as they competed in the first Brownsburg Invitational held at their brand new home course. Competing against 5 other schools the Bulldogs finished with a perfect score of 15, while taking places 1-8, and finishing ahead of 2nd place Clinton Prarie (67 points). Sophomore Brooke Dixon was the overall race winner, while also finishing in a personal best time of 18:59! Lauren Cover-Rinehart, Emma Cougill, Cora Minkis, and Ali Ray fishished off the scoring positions to seal the victory for the team. Also finishing in their best times ever were Alivia Gustrowsky, Isabella Maihofer, Sara Lents, Campbell Adelsperger, Brianna Abbott, and Morgan Spears. It was also a special day for the team as they recognized their Seniors. A big thank you to Hannah Guy, Sydni Montgomery, Samantha Sanchez, and Emily Truax for their many years of hard work and commitment.  Great job to all of the girls and thank you to all who attended and to those who helped make the first meet at the new course a great one!
